AFTER EFFECTS · WINDOWS BETA

The edit you have in mind.

Describe the story, pace and style you want. Veora builds it as a real After Effects project — compositions, layers and keyframes you can open, change and keep.

Your footage. Your direction. An editable project.

EXAMPLE EDITING BRIEF
“Turn this interview into a 45-second story. Open with the strongest line, tighten the pauses and keep the captions clean.”

An example of how to brief Veora, not a recorded result.

Start with the video you want to make.

Veora works from a brief, so it suits the videos where you already know what you want to say.

A story worth staying for

Interviews · explainers · creator videos

Give the edit a clear opening, tighter pacing and readable captions. Review the transcript and decide what stays.

A product people understand

Product demos · tutorials · brand content

Explain what matters, where the attention should go and how the video should feel. Guide cuts, titles and supporting visuals with a brief.

A cut made for the feed

Shorts · Reels · social clips

Set the length and format. Ask for a stronger hook, shorter pauses or a different rhythm, then review the result before publishing.

Direct the edit. Keep the control.

You stay the editor. Veora does the assembling, and shows you its plan before it runs anything.

Your brief sets the direction

Describe the audience, story and pace. Use a reference to communicate a look, then review how it fits your footage.

Keep refining in plain language

“Make the opening shorter.” “Keep this sentence.” “Use quieter captions.” Give specific feedback as the edit develops.

An editable project stays yours

The work lives in After Effects compositions and layers. Inspect it, adjust it yourself or keep editing with Veora.

Review before you publish

Check the transcript, approve the edit plan and inspect the result. Frame checks help find overlaps and elements outside the composition.

From footage to a reviewed edit.

Three steps, and you approve the one in the middle before anything is built.

  1. 1

    Bring your footage

Choose your source video and review its transcript. Tell Veora who the video is for and what it should achieve.

  2. 2

    Set the direction

Describe the length, format, pacing and style. Review the proposed plan before running the edit.

  3. 3

    Refine and export

Review the result in After Effects, request changes and export when you are satisfied.

A plan for your workflow.

Choose your usage allowance. Credits recover on rolling five-hour and seven-day windows.

Know where your footage and instructions go.

Editing runs in After Effects on your computer. Hosted AI requests pass through Veora servers to model providers and can include instructions and project context. Transcription can run locally; cloud transcription sends audio to the selected service. External asset and search services receive requests when used.

Before your first edit

Do I need to know After Effects?

You can give editing instructions in plain language. You still need After Effects installed and must be able to open the panel, review the result and save your project. Beginner onboarding is still being improved during beta.

Can Veora edit any video exactly how I imagine it?

You can describe a wide range of editing goals, but every style and video type is not yet validated. Source quality, length and complexity affect the result. Start with a focused brief, review the plan and refine the output.

Is this a standalone editor?

No. The current Windows beta runs inside Adobe After Effects, which is installed and licensed separately. Mac support is not yet verified.

Do I need my own AI API key?

Hosted mode uses a Veora email account without your own model API key. Access and credits must be available on that account. The technical ZIP also supports a separate provider connection.

What does it cost?

Hosted usage is credit-based. During beta, confirm available access, prices and limits with us before starting. This page does not offer a paid checkout or promise unlimited use.

Can I keep editing the result?

Yes. Veora works in your After Effects project, so compositions and layers remain editable. Save a project copy before beta testing and review captions, timing and exports before publishing.

What beta means here.

  • Windows, and a licensed After Effects — 2021 or newer, tested on 2021.
  • Video analysis also needs Python and FFmpeg. We set that up with you.
  • An internet connection, for the hosted AI features.
  • You review every edit before it is exported. What you get back depends on your footage and your brief.
  • macOS is not verified yet, and the one-click Setup.exe is still in testing.
  • A direct line to the people building it, for as long as it is a beta.

We would rather you knew all of this before you downloaded anything.

Already set up? Download the technical ZIP

Technical ZIP: Node 18+ and manual setup required. This is not the new Setup.exe.

Bring the footage. Tell us the edit.

Join the beta with a real project and help shape a more capable editing workflow.
